First Impressions: Urban Decay’s Naked Illuminated

I love doing first impressions posts because I’m forever buying the one off piece of makeup to try out and such!
A few weeks ago I bought the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated in the colour ‘aura’
The naked illuminated is a face and body shimmer and a definite go-to on a night out!
I bought this product during a 10% off makeup event at Debenhams at the Urban Decay counter, I do love a good bargain, I believe this was £21

First things first, the packaging is gorgeous, its quite a chunky box which may make it difficult to take around in your makeup bag, its lined with a shimmery champagne gold material and the name embossed onto the lid.

The product itself is huge, I feel like you get quite a lot in this product and so it’ll last for a long time!
The other product colour was much more of a white/silvery shade but due to me being pale anyway the woman at the counter helped me to choose the shade which would fit me best and so ‘Aura’ added a slight pop of peach to the shimmers which seemed to compliment my skin tone.

In the second compartment you get a nice sized soft bristled brush to sweep across your highlight areas or wherever you desire as this product is a face and body shimmer.

As you can see the product is heavily pigmented, but you do have a lot of fall out from this product so just avoid touching the areas or secure it with a makeup fixing spray!

I ADORE this product as the shimmer really wakes you up and makes you glisten but not heavily like a disco ball, its without a doubt my go-to product for a night out, I especially cant wait to try it during the summer as I think it will look gorgeous with a tanned summer glow!

Have you tried this product? Let me know what you think!
